Safariland New Style Universal
Belt Loop (UBL)
Introducing an all-new belt loop design from
Safariland, the Universal Belt Loop (UBL). The new Hi-Tech
Universal Belt loop has revolutionized the duty holster industry.
Safariland has converted the following models to the UBL.
Converted holster models 200, 2005, 6280, 6285, 295, 2955 and
all Raptors BENEFITS AND FEATURES - Added comfort, especially for the female officer
- Stronger and half the weight of the old style belt loop
- Improves draw of handgun by forcing muzzle of weapon toward the
leg
- Will not pinch or ad pressure to hip bone (support ridge
removed from belt shank)
- Locks onto the duty belt with the new belt slot design. No belt
loop tension screws needed, will not damage top of belt.
- Easier to mount onto the belt.
- Drop in insert available for 2" (50mm) belts.Converts holster
to the new 3-hole pattern, can convert holster to other style belt
loops, IE: Drop version for duty, concealment paddle or belt slide,
or Tactical. Available belt loops for this holster are:
- 6070UBL-2 Mid Ride Duty
- 6075UBL-2 Low Ride Duty (1.5" drop)
- 6070UBL-2-2 Duty Belt Loop, 2" (50mm) belt slot
